I am an agriculture/environmental scientist with broad research interests in increasing the productivity, profitability and sustainability of agricultural production systems and natural ecosystems in Australia and elsewhere and tackling emerging issues including climate change.

I work across the multiple spatial scales which includes paddock to continental scale and use modern data science and process-based/simulation modelling approaches to analyse collated datasets. Such modelling approaches are essential component hence;

  • better understand the drivers of complex inherent variability in agro-ecosystems that limits the production capabilities
  • manage agro-ecosystems in an effective manner in changing environmental conditions
  • use input resources in sustainable and economical manner
